ABOUT US
Taoist Home is a business set up with the mission to assist with the direct relief for the homeless in Sydney through the provision of essentials such as blankets and warm clothing. Taoist Home also actively engages in providing financial subsidies for the schooling of children in some of the poor, remote and underdeveloped regions in China and other Asian countries, where even the basic primary education is not available to all children.
One of our current projects is supporting the children in Guizhou, China. The Guizhou province in China is considered to be one of China’s poorest areas. Situated in a mountainous area, many struggle to survive each day. Poverty is widespread with people having to regularly go without basic needs such as food, clothing, shelter and medicine. Our funding provides financial subsidies for school fees and other necessities so that children in extreme poverty can still attain some form of education. Taoist Home is also working on a loner term project t provide funding for the establishment of more new schools in these areas.
With your help, our goal is to raise funds so that we can improve the lives of the underprivileged in Sydney and provide basic primary education to children in poverty abroad. Through education we hope to bring the children an improved quality of life and alleviate their suffering whereby they can pull their families and communities out of poverty and into a better life.
